Senior Couple Retreat

We LOVE our Senior Couples! This was our first Senior Couple treat!  Well our first senior couple retreat, but it was in fact such a treat to be with all of these amazing couples for a couple of days.  I wish so much that I could sit down with each one of them and have them each tell me their story.  I'm sure it would be fascinating and so awe inspiring.  We only get to hear bits and pieces when we visit their areas and how we love to hear about their lives, their families, their sacrifices and what inspired them to serve a mission.

We started the day with a visit to a couple of World Class  Museums in Fort Worth.

We then headed back to the Mission Home for a nice dinner together.  It was so nice to just visit together.  The sister at the end of the table on the left (next to the TV) next to Jessica is Sister Lehnardt's sister from our home ward back in Missouri.

After a nice dinner that the Passey's put together so very well, we had a discussion and shared thoughts and feelings about the work and responsibilities.  We then had a devotional from President Ames, that was inspiring and motivating.  I love this picture (below) so much for so many reasons.  (although I highly doubt I'll do that face again...scary)ha The time went much too fast.
"In all of living, there should be much laughter, life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured"

The next morning we all met in the Temple and attended a session together.

It was very sweet and we're so very excited for the next retreat!
